About this Research Topic
Cancer is a major public health problem worldwide. Clarifying the etiology and pathogenesis of cancer is of great significance to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of the disease. The bench to bedside pattern can be a useful method for cancer-related studies. This Research Topic aims to highlight the emerging role of oncogenetics in cancer, and discuss potential challenges of diagnosis and treatment, from the bench to the bedside.
We welcome the submission of Original Research, Review, Mini Review, Opinion, and Perspective articles that cover the recent advances made in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, from basic research to clinical application, which includes, but is not limited to:
1. Multiomics analysis of the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
2. Single-cell sequencing analysis of the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
3. Screening of diagnostic/therapeutic markers for cancer.
4. Exploration of the mechanisms underlying functional genomics of the etiology and pathogenesis of cancer.
Note: Manuscripts consisting solely of bioinformatics or computational analysis of public genomic or transcriptomic databases which are not accompanied by robust and relevant validations are considered out of the scope of this section.
Keywords: Translation Medicine, Bench to Bedside, Diagnosis, Treatments, Cancer
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
