The purpose of this topic is to focus on the contribution of researchers worldwide on the potential application of omics techniques in nervous system diseases. We accept any articles on the application of conventional genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, or the emerging single-cell, and spatio-temporal transcriptomics, or mitochondrial omics to the exploration of mechanisms and drugs (herbal compound prescriptions, herbal medicines, and natural or synthetic compounds) for nervous system diseases. We seek to advance the clinical diagnosis, pathogenesis and drug development of nervous system diseases with the help of multiomics technologies. Our articles cover, but are not limited to, original basic and clinical research papers, review papers, mini-reviews, meta-analyses, etc.
