About this Research Topic
ARVC is a complex syndrome involving structural and functional electrophysiologcial changes in -preferentially- the right ventricular myocardium. An overlap between ARVC and Brugada Syndrome has been suggested.
Frontiers in Cardiac Electrophysiology aims to host a Frontiers Research Topic, a collection of Original and Review paper, dealing with the interaction between structure and function in ARVC and Brugada Syndrome. A Frontiers Research Topic also provides an on-line interactive forum in relation to the manuscripts.
We welcome you to contribute a manuscript for this Research Topic collection. Deadline for submission of manuscripts is 1/12/2011. Please note that all manuscripts are subject to the interactive Frontiers peer review system (http://www.frontiersin.org/physiology/reviewguidelines).
Please contact the editor-in-chief of Frontiers in Cardiac Electrophysiology, Ruben Coronel, (at FiCE@amc.nl) to discuss the scope of review papers (in order to prevent overlap with other reviews).
Your contribution can move the field forward.
Yours sincerely,
Frontiers editorial office on behalf of
Ruben Coronel, Editor-in-chief of Frontiers in Cardiac Electrophysiology (FiCE)
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
