About this Research Topic
This Research Topic aims to present the challenges as well as the new advances in the exploitation process of unconventional tight/shale resources, starting from fluid flow mechanisms and new developing technologies, to field pilots and applications of the new perspectives and methods. The special issue will advance the fundamental understanding in this area and bring positive impacts to the development of the global unconventional oil and gas industry.
We welcome interested authors to submit Original Research and Review articles, including but not limited to the research papers and reviews about the new theories, technologies and challenges in unconventional oil and gas resources exploitation, geothermal resources, natural gas hydrate and CCUS.
