About this Research Topic
This international meeting on radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine was held in Nantes, France on March 10-11, 2015 under the auspices of the IRON LabEx (Innovative Radiopharmaceuticals for Oncology and Neurology Laboratory of Excellence). The sessions focused on: Innovative tracers in neurology: from bench to bedside; Multimodality imaging; Theranostics in nuclear medicine and Targeted radionuclide therapy. The emergence of interdisciplinary research in nuclear medicine, involving researchers in physics, chemistry, radiopharmacy, biology and medicine was interesting to see at this year's conference.
Chief Editor, Françoise Kraeber-Bodéré and Research Topic Guest Associate Editors, Jacques Barbet, Denis Guilloteau and Michel Chérel, would like to encourage these unique contributions to expose the high quality research that it has been generating to a new and broad audience.
Submissions to this Research Topic are not limited to those papers presented at NTHS 2015. We are also welcoming papers from the scientific community on innovative radiopharmaceuticals developed in oncology and neurology.
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements.
