About this Research Topic
Speakers are encouraged to present late-breaking unpublished research. Similarly, we would like to encourage other researchers and clinicians in the field to publish their research as part of this Research Topic dedicated to this rapidly evolving field. Contributions on the following themes are welcome:
• Emerging targets in DBS
• New methodologies for patient engagement
• Implications for neurodegenerative disease modeling and treatment
• Sensors and wearable technologies
• Cutting edge DBS and neuromodulation research papers
• Ethico-legal issues in neuromodulation and DBS
Discussions of DBS Think Tank are summarized in an annual proceeding that is considered a highly influential publication in the field. This Research Topic will include both the summary of the published proceedings, as well as new research contributions from attendees of the meeting.
