About this Research Topic
We are delighted to present the Rising Stars in Frontiers in Integrative Neuroscience 2021 Article Collection. This collection showcases the high-quality work of internationally recognized researchers in the early stages of their independent careers. The collection aims to describe the future directions for integrative neuroscience through the characterization of theories and methodologies that are likely to influence the field in the coming years.
As a community driven project, we encourage all rising star Review Editors in Frontiers in Integrative Neuroscience to participate in this collection. Other researchers were individually nominated by the Topic Editors, in recognition of their potential to influence the future directions in their respective fields. The work presented here highlights the diversity of research performed across the entire breadth of the Journal and presents advances in theory, experiment, and methodology with applications to compelling problems.
