About this Research Topic
This Research Topic aims to provide a forum for researchers to discover the performances and mechanisms of cardiovascular response to high altitude as well as their associations with high altitude related diseases including acute and chronic mountain sickness mountain sickness. Furthermore, both clinical and basic research in cardiovascular system and their roles in high altitude diseases are also welcomed.
We welcome papers covering, but not limited to, the following topics:
1) Systemic circulation at high altitude.
2) Pulmonary circulation at high altitude.
3) Cardiac function response to high altitude.
4) Cardiac arrhythmia at high altitude.
5) Prevention of high-altitude diseases.
6) Clinical trial at high altitude.
7) Treatment of high-altitude diseases.
8) Basic research of cardiovascular responses to high altitude or hypoxia.
