Professor Hui Yao LAN is a Choh-Ming Li is Associate Editor for Frontiers in Physiology and has led three Research Topics. Professor Carolyn M Ecelbarger is the Specialty Chief Editor for Frontiers in Physiology - Renal and Epithelial Physiology. She is Professor at the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, Georgetown University. Her research is focused on molecular mechanisms that link hyperinsulinemia to sodium retention and hypertension in rodent models. Principal mechanisms include assessment of renal sodium transport proteins bumetanide sensitive NaCl cotransporters.
