About this Research Topic
In order to bring CSP to regular clinical practice, the pacing target or procedural failure should be clear and adequate tools should easily support implants even in complex cardiac anatomies. Our goal is to define what is already clear and what is missing in CSP use in clinical practice. After defining what is missing, design a possible strategy to obtain lacking information.
Based on the purpose of this Research Topic, the following themes should be covered, but not limited to:
1) CSP in brady indications.
2) Implant procedure: how to approach CSP (how to plan HBP or LBBP, how and when decide to shift from one to the other, how to choose the right tool for the right patient). What’s missing in tools?
3) CSP in CRT scenario. What’s missing in devices, algorithms, terminology?
4) The role of Imaging in CSP.
5) Device programming and patient follow-up e.g. how to manage follow-up, remote monitoring, complications and leads problems.
6) Ongoing (randomized) studies overview. What’s missing and how to fill these gaps?
Original researches, systematic reviews, review articles and mini-review articles will be welcomed. Other articles types will be also considered.
