About this Research Topic
Traumatic Brain Injury as a Systems Neuroscience Problem
Given the rapid pace of data analytics research in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) as well as the positive response from our previous issue, we are bringing back this research topic as a new special edition. Both in the research and clinical domains, TBI research is being transformed by large databases and multivariate analytics. In this issue, we aim to highlight these research efforts. Manuscripts that apply techniques involving machine learning, advanced imaging, network theory, large-scale data analytics, etc. to TBI research are encouraged to submit to this topic.
The scope of the current topic is any original research, prospectives, and review articles highlighting advanced analytics applied to questions related to TBI. Specifically, research in the fields of advanced imaging, MRI volume rendering in TBI, large-scale clinical databases, machine learning, advanced multi-variate statistics, large-scale electrophysiological analyses, among others are encouraged to submit to this Research Topic.
Keywords: TBI, Systems Neuroscience, Data science, Machine Learning, Data Analytics
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
