About this Research Topic
This research topic, we would like to share minimally invasive surgical experience, methods in colorectal cancer, especially single incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS) and robotic surgery. We welcome review, original research, and methods articles focusing but not limited to the following:
1) Short and Long-term oncological outcome and advances as well as differences between single incision laparoscopic surgery (SILS) and regular laparoscopic colorectal surgery;
2) New application of SILS in rectal cancer therapy such as total mesorectal excision (TME) and D3 lymph node dissection in rectal cancer.
3) New application of SILS in colon cancer therapy such as Left hemicolectomy, Right hemicolectomy in different position of colon cancer.
4) Oncological outcome, present status and prospect of single incision laparoscopic surgery and robot-assisted surgery in colorectal cancer.
