About this Research Topic
NETs can present with functional and non-functional symptoms. It is of paramount importance that a multidisciplinary approach is applied in patients with NETS including gastroenterologists, surgeons, radiologists, oncologists and anaesthetists.
The aim and scope of this Research Topic is to address the important issues around NETs management, review treatment guidelines and highlight latest developments. We welcome submissions of a research or clinical nature. Review articles are also encouraged.
The four main topics include:
-Diagnostic approach to NETs and preoperative management
-Intraoperative management and challenges
-Hepatic and pancreatic NETs
-NETs of the gastrointestinal tract
