About this Research Topic
The goal of the present Research Topic is to elucidate radiological, genetic, histological and molecular features underlying the biological and clinical behavior of atypical and malignant meningiomas as well as their response to different therapeutic options. Moreover, the goal of the issue is to present new therapeutic approaches and improvements of conventional techniques, with promising impact on patients’ outcome.
Topic editors will welcome contributions about, but not limited to:
• Radiological features of atypical and malignant meningiomas
• Molecular, histological and genetic mechanisms of tumor recurrence, proliferation, resistance to treatment
• New therapeutic approaches and improvements of conventional treatments
• The issue will include clinical trials, large retrospective series and systematic reviews
