About this Research Topic
With the current proliferation of novel technologies, attention must be paid to the relationship between the patient and the care provider. How can they communicate safely and effectively? How do patients remain adherent and involved? Additional technical and ethical challenges involve the use of artificial intelligence, which is rapidly entering the domain of the general cardiologist. We aim to select high-end manuscript with state-of-the-art reviews and original articles on digital cardiology.
Topics can include, but are not limited to:
1) Personalized digital approaches to cardiovascular diagnosis and treatment.
2) Digital patient-physician communication.
3) Telemedicine (digital diagnostics).
4) Remote monitoring
5) Digital imaging techniques
