About this Research Topic
This Research Topic aims to investigate the pathogenesis and pathophysiological processes of inflammatory immune diseases (SLE, RA, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis), to explore the field of basic and clinical research, and to discover new therapeutic agents. From genetic data to basic function research of inflammatory immune diseases, potential new drug targets could be provided for inflammatory immune diseases by combining clinical case characteristics. Hence, this topic is intended to include research on screening new drugs from new targets, constructing susceptibility gene bank of patients with inflammatory and immune diseases, screening susceptible population, early diagnosis, pathological mechanism research, treatment target screening, drug development.
The purpose of this Research Topic is based on the genome-wide susceptibility gene search for inflammatory immune diseases, to explore the function of inflammatory immune diseases susceptibility genes, pathogenesis, target research, drug conversion and druggability research. In this Research Topic, we welcome original research articles, reviews, opinion, perspective, and systematic review, including but not limited to the following themes:
• Investigation on the pathophysiological mechanisms and new targets in inflammatory immune diseases
• Genome-wide susceptibility gene screening and the gene function research of inflammatory immune diseases
• Evaluation of drugs for the treatment and research into new drugs of inflammatory immune diseases
• Research on drug transformation and druggability of inflammatory immune diseases
Keywords: Inflammatory, immune, molecular mechanisms, translational approaches, therapeutics
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements.
