About this Research Topic
A better understanding of how the development of fat tissue is regulated and which control mechanisms are involved are of great interest to this Research Topic. Furthermore, we are also interested in unravelling the mechanisms behind ASCs differentiation. The aim of this article collection is to promote our understanding of the effects of changing physiological conditions on the fat tissue and to help develop methods for the treatment and prevention of obesity.
This Research Topic is intended to show readers the basic research on the regulatory mechanisms of adipose-derived stem cells and the related clinical translation progress. We welcome Original research, Review, and Mini-Review articles. Areas to be covered in this article collection may include, but are not limited to the following subtopics:
• The molecular biological regulatory mechanisms of ASCs in differentiation
• The immunoregulatory mechanisms of ASCs
• The perspectives for clinical translation of ASCs
• The role of fatty acid metabolism in maintenance and differentiation of stem cells
Keywords: adipose-derived stem cells, differentiation, Regulation mechanism, translation medicine, Regenerative medicine
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
