Speakers are encouraged to present late-breaking unpublished research. Contributions on the following themes are welcome:
• Emerging targets in DBS
• New methodologies for patient engagement
• Implications for neurodegenerative disease modeling and treatment
• Sensors and wearable technologies
• Cutting edge DBS and neuromodulation research papers
• Ethico-legal issues in neuromodulation and DBS
Discussions of DBS Think Tank are summarized in an annual proceedings that is considered a highly influential publication in the field. This Research Topic will include both the summary of the published proceedings, as well as new research contributions from attendees of the meeting. The next meeting will be Sept 1-2, 2020 in Gainesville FL at UF Health.
