About this Research Topic
This Research Topic mainly focuses on the design of high-performance porous nanomaterials for energy storage devices, which can facilitate the development of efficient, rapid, and low-cost energy storage. We also welcome the researches about electrolyte, binder, and additive cooperated with porous nanomaterials for energy storage devices. Meanwhile, we sincerely hope that this Research Topic can provide new understanding of porous nanomaterials for energy storage devices, which will provide valuable inspirations for researchers.
In this Research Topic, we mainly collect the research papers or reviews that involve the above-mentioned topics. Both experimental and simulative works are welcomed. Potential topics include but are not limited to the following:
• Synthesis of porous nanomaterials
• Porous nanomaterials for alkali-ion batteries
• Porous nanomaterials for zinc-ion batteries
• Porous nanomaterials for supercapacitors and other new types of energy storage devices
• Electrochemical mechanism of porous nanomaterials for energy storage
• Flexible energy storage device design by porous nanomaterials
• Simulation of porous nanomaterials for energy storage
We would like to acknowledge Dr. Junying Liu has acted as coordinator and has contributed to the preparation of the proposal for this Research Topic.
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
