About this Research Topic
Research in aging involves inter-disciplinary collaboration that traditionally vary in their measures, methodologies, and processes. This Research Topic invites Original Research, Evaluations, Scoping and Systematic Reviews, Community Case Studies, and papers on methods and data, among others with the primary aim of enhancing our understanding about aging in Malaysia.
Articles on the following topics will be considered, as well as author proposed topics related (but not exclusive) to the overall theme:
• Health and information system alignment with the needs of older populations;
• Management of measurements, monitoring and understanding for a wide range of issues and challenges related to aging;
• Studies on behavior, environment, health promotion, healthcare, health economy and policy impact;
• Research methods within the social science disciplines of sociology and social psychology which enrich the understanding of aging and illness;
• Use and impact of technology and age-friendly environments for aged care;
• Study on diverse populations (e.g., across the life-course) and settings (e.g., global health, schools, communities).
Authors from Malaysia and other countries who participated in projects related to aging in Malaysia are welcome.
