About this Research Topic
It is becoming increasingly clear that early life experience results in potentially long-term, and even permanent, changes in a variety of physiological and psychological factors. This Research Topic of Frontiers would feature clinical and basic science review papers and original articles on multiple distinct topics, including pain, neuroprotection, social behavior, stress responsiveness and emotionality.
