About this Research Topic
This article collection will comprehensively summarize the state-of-the-art in skull base tumors echoed by leaders in the field around the globe. Emphasis should be made on novel approaches and technologies in the fields of endoscopic surgery, radiation therapy, targeted therapy, diagnostic imaging as well as 3D planning and quality of life. We would like the authors to share their own clinical experience as well as basic and translational knowledge and focus on future directions in the field of skull base tumors.
We welcome Original Research, Review, and Mini-Review articles delineating different aspects of skull base tumors management, including descriptions of surgical technique - other submissions will also be reviewed if appropriate.
Manuscripts should focus on but are not limited to:
1. New approaches in endoscopic transnasal surgery.
2. Craniofacial surgery.
3. Radiation technologies in skull base tumor management.
4. Targeted therapies for skull base tumors.
5. Diagnostic imaging techniques, 3D planning.
6. Quality of life during and after skull base tumor management.
7. Reconstruction of the skull base.
