About this Research Topic
This Research Topic will cover recent progress in the preparation and applications of fluorescent carbon-based nanostructures for bioimaging applications.
This Research Topic will address themes that include, but are not limited to:
- Novel carbon-based nanomaterials for bioimaging
- Carbon-based nanomaterials for in-vitro cells imaging
- Metal-doped carbon dots/nanoparticles for applications in MRI, CT, etc.
- Upconversion carbon-based nanomaterials for bioimaging
It is our pleasure to welcome researchers to submit their original work to this Research Topic. Prospective authors are encouraged to submit their manuscripts in the form of review articles, original research papers, and perspectives.
Keywords: Carbon, fluorescence, bioimaging, upconversion, MRI
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
