Frontiers forms publishing agreement with Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum

We are delighted to inform you that Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum holds a Central Invoicing agreement with Frontiers Ruhr-Universitaet Bochum will in most cases be covering Article Publishing Fees  for corresponding authors affiliated with the University who wish to publish in any of the Frontiers journals. Information for authors: To submit your article under this institutional agreement, please select ‘Ruhr – University Bochum’ as institutional payer in the invoice section when submitting your article. Frontiers will then verify your eligibility with Ruhr University Bochum, and if confirmed, the APC will be paid by the Ruhr University Bochum library upon acceptance. Frontiers forms publishing agreement with the University of Zurich

We are delighted to inform you that the University of Zurich is in a publishing agreement with Frontiers The University of Zurich covers 25% of Article Publishing Fees for corresponding authors affiliated with the University who wish to publish in any Frontiers journal. A 2.5% membership discount will be applied to the net price which would otherwise be payable for publication, after deduction of any other discounts that may apply. To submit your article under this institutional agreement, please select ‘University of Zurich’ as institutional payer in the invoice section when submitting your article. Frontiers will then verify your eligibility with the University of Zurich Library, and if confirmed, 25% of the APC will be paid by the Library upon acceptance. You will receive an invoice from Frontiers for the remaining 75%. Frontiers and the Technical University of Munich form open access publishing agreement

We are delighted to announce that the Technical University of Munich (Technische Universität München / TUM) has established an institutional partnership agreement for open access publishing with Frontiers. The Technical University of Munich supports its researchers in making their research more widely available. As part of this support, the Technical University of Munich has entered an institutional agreement with Frontiers. Under the terms of this agreement, eligible authors from the Technical University of Munich may publish in any Frontiers journal at no cost to them and with a simplified process. Eligible authors will benefit from a streamlined invoicing process, managed directly between Frontiers and the Open Access team at the Technical University of Munich, relieving authors of the responsibility of payment. Furthermore, the Technical University of Munich and its Library will benefit from a discount on Article Processing Charges (APCs) for articles covered by this agreement. This agreement will further encourage Technical University of Munich’s authors to publish open access, increasing uptake of open access to the results of mostly publicly funded research, to the benefit of the scholarly community and the public at large, while reducing costs. We are delighted to inform you that the University of Regensburg holds a central invoicing agreement with Frontiers. Under the terms of this agreement, eligible articles by the University of Regensburg authors will benefit from a discount on article processing charges (APCs) for articles. The University of Regensburg will within its financial means cover parts of the APCs for articles by corresponding authors affiliated with the University in any of the Frontiers journals, provided that the requirements are met. Frontiers and University College London continue open-access agreement

Frontiers is pleased to announce the continuation of its open-access publishing agreement with University College London (UCL). Swiss open-access publisher and research network, Frontiers is pleased to announce the continuation of its open-access publishing agreement with University College London (UCL). Since September last year, almost 100 authors affiliated with UCL have benefited from this publishing agreement, which enables researchers to publish their work in the “Frontiers in” journal series, with UCL covering the article publishing fees. “Results from publicly funded research should be accessible to everyone. That is why UCL is pleased to team up with Frontiers and other high-quality open-access publishers to enable our scientists to make their research freely available. Frontiers forms publishing agreement with Göttingen University

We are delighted to inform you that Göttingen University holds a central invoicing agreement with Frontiers. Göttingen University (partially) covers Article Publishing Charges (APCs), for corresponding authors affiliated with the University, for articles in any of the Frontiers journals via an Open Access Publication Fund. Göttingen State and University Library (SUB Göttingen) is the administrator of this Fund. For further details and whether you qualify for support from the Fund, please visit the Library’s webpages on Open Access and the Open Access Publication Fund (Publikationsfonds) or contact Ms Sabine Witt witt@sub.uni-goettingen.de. Update: From 2020, the Publication Fund of the University of Göttingen may finance APCs for publishing in Frontiers journals only partially. Frontiers forms publishing agreement with University College London

We are delighted to inform you that University College London is in a pre-payment agreement with Frontiers UCL is able to cover open access fees for authors publishing in Frontiers journals, provided that certain eligibility criteria are met. Eligible papers include: Research articles and uninvited review articles acknowledging UCL-held UKRI (UK Research Councils) or Wellcome Trust funding. Unfunded original research articles and uninvited review articles with a UCL-affiliated corresponding author. The corresponding author must be a full member of staff or research student at UCL. Information for authors: To submit your article under this institutional agreement, please select ‘University College London’ as institutional payer in the invoice section when submitting your article. Frontiers will then verify your eligibility with the UCL Open Access Team, and if confirmed to be eligible according to the eligibility criteria, the APC will be paid by UCL upon acceptance.
