Oslo Metropolitan University forms open access publishing agreement with Frontiers

As part of this support, eligible authors from Oslo Metropolitan University will benefit from a 10% partnership discount under the terms of the Sikt Open Access Publishing Framework Agreement. Information for authors: To submit your article under this institutional agreement, please select ‘Oslo Metropolitan University’ as institutional payer in the invoice section when submitting your article. Authors affiliated with OsloMet should use their OsloMet email address and be the corresponding author for their manuscript. Frontiers will then verify your eligibility with OsloMet and if confirmed, the discounted invoice will be sent to you via Oslo Metropolitan University library. If you are a faculty member seeking additional funding, you must apply at https://ansatt.oslomet.no/publiseringsfond and meet all criteria stated therein. Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development forms publishing agreement with Frontiers

Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (Hochschule für nachhaltige Entwicklung Eberswalde) has formed an institutional membership agreement for open access publishing with Frontiers. The institutional agreement means that eligible researchers will benefit from a streamlined invoicing process, managed directly between Frontiers and the Open Access team at the Library of the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development. The University Library at Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development supports its researchers in making their research more widely available. This agreement will further encourage Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development researchers to publish open access, increasing the volume of research openly available. This also benefits the wider research community and the public at large. The National Oceanography Centre has joined the Frontiers – JISC national open access deal.

The National Oceanography Centre has joined the Frontiers – JISC national open access deal. We are delighted to announce that the National Oceanography Centre has joined the national open access deal agreed between Jisc Collections and Frontiers. This landmark deal provides a simplified and streamlined route to open access publishing for researchers in the UK, who publish 7% of the world’s research. The National Oceanography Centre supports its researchers in making their research widely available. As part of this deal, eligible authors will benefit from a streamlined invoicing process and the NOC will benefit from a discount on Article Processing Charges (APCs) for articles covered by this agreement. This agreement will further encourage National Oceanography Centre authors to publish open access, increasing uptake of open access to the results of mostly publicly funded research, to the benefit of the scholarly community and the public at large, while reducing costs. University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo) and Frontiers form open access publishing agreement

University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo) has formed an institutional membership agreement for open access publishing with Frontiers. The TiHo supports its researchers in making their research free and openly available. As part of this support, the new agreement with Frontiers will further encourage TiHo researchers to publish open access at reduced costs and under a streamlined central invoicing process. Eligible TiHo authors may benefit from a 7.5% membership discount in any Frontiers journal, which could be combined with any other applicable discounts, waivers and similar support schemes personally obtained by the authors. Information for TiHo researchers If you are an eligible TiHo researcher, please select “University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover (TiHo)” in the payment information section (“Frontiers institutional members”) when submitting your article. Frontiers will verify your eligibility with the TiHo Library and, if confirmed, apply the discount on the article processing charges (APCs). Upon receipt, the TiHo Library will forward the invoice to the responsible TiHo corresponding author to arrange the payment by the respective department or clinic. Anglia Ruskin University has joined the Frontiers – JISC national open access deal

We would like to announce that Anglia Ruskin University has joined the national open access deal agreed between Jisc Collections and Frontiers. This landmark deal provides a simplified and streamlined route to open access publishing for researchers in the UK, who publish 7% of the world’s research. This institutional agreement means that eligible ARU researchers may publish in any Frontiers journal at no cost to them and with a simplified process. Articles may benefit from a 10% membership discount. ARU Library and Research & Innovation Development Office supports its researchers in making their research more widely available. This agreement will further encourage ARU researchers to publish open access, increasing the volume of research openly available. While this reduces costs for the researcher, it also benefits the wider research community and the public at large.  We are pleased to announce that the University of Lincoln has joined the UK national open access deal agreed between Jisc Collections and Frontiers. This landmark deal provides a simplified and streamlined route to open access publishing for researchers in the UK. The University of Lincoln supports its researchers in making their research more widely available. As part of this deal, eligible authors may publish in any Frontiers journal with a discount of 10% on Article Processing Charges (APCs) for articles. This agreement will further encourage University of Lincoln researchers to publish open access, increasing the volume of research openly available. While this reduces costs for the researcher, it also benefits the wider research community and the public at large.   Information for authors: This agreement provides a discount only and does not cover the full costs of your APC. You are advised to obtain confirmation of funding to cover the remaining 90% of the APC from the University of Lincoln prior to submitting your manuscript.
