Vytautas Magnus University forms publishing agreement with Frontiers

Vytautas Magnus University has formed an institutional membership agreement for open access publishing with Frontiers. This institutional agreement means that eligible Vytautas Magnus University researchers may publish in any Frontiers journal at no cost to them and with a simplified process. Articles may benefit from a 2.5% membership discount. The university library Vytautas Magnus University supports its researchers in making their research more widely available. This agreement will further encourage Vytautas Magnus University researchers to publish open access, increasing the volume of research openly available. Delft University of Technology renews publishing agreement with Frontiers

Delft University of Technology has formed an institutional membership agreement for open access publishing with Frontiers on the 1st of October 2014. This institutional agreement means that eligible Delft University of Technology researchers may publish in any Frontiers journal at no cost to them and with a simplified process. As of January 2022, articles may now benefit from a 10% membership discount. TU Delft Library supports its researchers in making their research more widely available. This agreement will further encourage TU Delft  researchers to publish open access, increasing the volume of research openly available. While this reduces costs for the researcher, it also benefits the wider research community and the public at large.   Information for researchers If you are a TU Delft researcher, please select Delft University of Technology in the payment information section (“Frontiers institutional members”) when submitting your article. The University of Kent has joined the Frontiers – JISC national open access deal

The University of Kent has joined the national open access deal agreed between Jisc Collections and Frontiers. This landmark deal provides a simplified and streamlined route to open access publishing for researchers in the UK, who publish 7% of the world’s research. The University of Kent supports its researchers in making their research more widely available. As part of this deal, eligible authors may publish in any Frontiers journal with a discount of 10% on Article Processing Charges (APCs) for articles. This agreement will further encourage University of Kent authors to publish open access, increasing uptake of open access to the results of mostly publicly funded research, to the benefit of the scholarly community and the public at large, while reducing costs. Information for authors: This agreement provides a discount only and does not cover the full costs of your APC. You are advised to obtain confirmation of funding to cover the remaining 90% of the APC. Frontiers and University of León form open access publishing agreement

The University of León supports its researchers in making their research more widely available. As part of this support, the University of León has entered an institutional agreement with Frontiers. Under the terms of this agreement, University of León-affiliated corresponding authors will benefit from a 10% discount on article-processing charges (APCs) when publishing in any of Frontiers’ open access journals. This agreement will further encourage University of León researchers to publish open access, increasing the volume of research openly available. While this reduces costs for the researcher, it also benefits the wider research community and the public at large. Information for authors If a University of León-affiliated corresponding author submits their manuscript with the University of León institutional email address domain, the discount will be automatically applied. The University of Dundee has joined the Frontiers – JISC national open access deal.

We are delighted to announce that the University of Dundee has joined the national open access deal agreed between Jisc Collections and Frontiers.  This landmark deal provides a simplified and streamlined route to open access publishing for researchers in the UK, who publish 7% of the world’s research. The University of Dundee supports its researchers in making their research more widely available.  As part of this deal, eligible authors may publish in any Frontiers journal at no cost to them and with a simplified process. Eligible authors will benefit from a streamlined invoicing process, relieving authors of the responsibility of payment. Furthermore, the University of Dundee will benefit from a discount on Article Processing Charges (APCs) for articles covered by this agreement. This agreement will further encourage University of Dundee authors to publish open access, increasing uptake of open access to the results of mostly publicly funded research, to the benefit of the scholarly community and the public at large, while reducing costs.
