Pupose: This study was aimed to explore the use of match data as a diagnostic method for evaluating psychological performance.Methods: It was analyzed the impact of match data on the diagnosis of team psychological performance in football through multiple regression analysis. The research sought to understand how match data could serve as a diagnosis tool for psychological performance in football, utilizing multiple regression analysis for this purpose.Results: Psychological fundamentals was derived as significant predictors of attempts and aggressiveness, highlighted by metrics such as crosses completed, switches of play, and loose ball receptions. Game intelligence was identified through data predicting game adaptation, including types of offer movement, physical duels won, take-ons, and overall physicality.Emotional control was reflected in data representing efforts to maintain psychological stability, evidenced by possession interrupted , duels won physical, possession contests won, and passes attempted. Communication capacity was inferred from data predicting interactions with oneself and teammates, highlighted by zone 5: 25+ km/h (m), passes completed, and physical engagements. This study delineates match data's influence on psychological performance in football, contributing to the evolution of psychological diagnosis methods and enhancing their applicability.Conclusions: Specifically, the findings address limitations inherent in traditional diagnosis approaches, which typically rely on psychological assessments or laboratory measurements.The incorporation of training and match data offers a more nuanced understanding of a player's psychological state, facilitating a field-reflective psychological diagnosis. It is hoped that this research will serve as a catalyst for innovative changes in psychological performance diagnosis by leveraging match data.
