The final, formatted version of the article will be published soon.

This manuscript investigates the effectiveness of the PWC 170 test as a predictor of actual job performance in physically demanding military occupations. By analyzing the relationship between PWC 170 scores and objective measures of endurance performance (12-minute run), the study examines the test's validity in predicting success in tasks relevant to military personnel. This research aligns with the scope of Organizational Psychology, specifically focusing on personnel selection, performance assessment, and the development of valid and reliable tools for predicting job success in physically demanding roles. The findings have implications for optimizing recruitment and selection processes within military organizations.
