This study entitled "Burnout and Online Consultation Practice among Psychotherapists" aligns with the areas of interest of the journal Frontiers in Psychology -Psychology for Clinical Settings, addressing the topic of the telepsychology practice in different clinical settings. In the current landscape of crisis and pressure on the mental health system, there is an elevated risk of occupational stress among care providers. Psychotherapist burnout negatively affects the effectiveness of patient care and potentially leads to therapy failure. Our study aims to explore the link between teleconsultation and burnout in relation with environmental sensitivity. We conducted a survey of 95 French psychotherapists, using the Maslach Burnout Inventory and the Highly Sensitive Person scale. The results suggest that teleconsultation may have specific utility in reducing burnout, particularly for psychotherapists with higher environmental sensitivity. The integration of digital health into standard practice may facilitate the expression of clinicians' skills and promote the therapeutic alliance with patients, especially for sensitive psychotherapists working in stimulating environments like public health services. . This manuscript has not been published elsewhere and is not under consideration by any other journal. We hope to contribute to the discussion on the development of innovative psychological practices in your esteemed journal.
