A Corrigendum on
Driving towards sustainability: exploring risk perceptions of fossil fuels, e-fuels, and electric drives in individual transport
by Rößler E, Schmeckel T, Kesselheim U and Arning K (2024). Front. Energy Res. 12:1415430. doi:10.3389/fenrg.2024.1415430
In the published article, there was an error in Table 3 as published. Unfortunately, the content of Table 3 was the same as in Table 2. The corrected Table 3 and its caption “Results of multiple linear regression analysis to predict readiness to use or buy vehicles that use electric drives. RP, Risk perception.” appear below.

Table 3. Results of multiple linear regression analysis to predict readiness to use or buy vehicles that use electric drives. RP, Risk perception.
In the published article, there was an error. In the Abstract, directions of relationships between variables were accidentally reversed.
A correction has been made to the Abstract. This sentence previously stated:
“Car affinity was found to correlate positively with risk perceptions of e-fuels and fossil fuels, but negatively with electric drives.”
The corrected sentence appears below:
“Car affinity was found to correlate negatively with risk perceptions of e-fuels and fossil fuels, but positively with electric drives.”
The authors apologize for this error and state that this does not change the scientific conclusions of the article in any way. The original article has been updated.
