Practical Explorations and Challenge Responses to Educational Digitization: Insights from Chinese Case studies

In the era of rapid development of science and technology and profound changes in industry, the digital transformation of education has become a core proposition in the global education field.With the continuous advancement of the fourth Industrial Revolution, cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and the Internet of Things are booming, creating a solid technological foundation for the reshaping of education paradigms and the innovation of teaching methods. The global COVID-19 pandemic has limited traditional education models, and the demand for digital learning platforms has exploded, accelerating the educational digitization.China, the European Union, the United States and other countries and regions have responded positively and introduced a series of policies to promote the implementation of the digital education strategy and inject strong impetus into its development. In this context, this study focuses on the practical application of digital education, in-depth analysis of its driving factors, realistic challenges and future trends. This study takes the digital education program in Changning District of Shanghai and the application of artificial intelligence assistant in Tsinghua University as typical cases to deeply explore its actual effect in education practice. Through case studies, the study reveals the challenges faced by educators in adapting to digital tools, such as lack of technical proficiency and difficulty in integrating instructional design, highlighting the urgent need to improve teachers' and students' digital literacy. Furthermore, this study emphasizes the key significance of deep integration of technology and education, and uses digital and intelligent technology to break the limitations of time and space in education, optimize resource allocation, stimulate teaching vitality, and comprehensively improve the quality, inclusiveness and adaptability of education.
