This article posits that the incorporation of self-regulation strategies into career counseling can significantly enhance career development. The study begins by articulating the rationale for this integration and delineates the objectives of the guide, which seeks to provide educators and counselors with practical strategies to support individuals' career paths. The theoretical framework examines self-regulation in career development, the role of career counseling in today's workforce, and the intersection of these two areas. The practical applications section introduces self-regulation techniques for career advancement, career counseling interventions, and illustrative case studies. The results from the application of these strategies are compiled in a resource manual, offering tools, assessments, and activities for clients, as well as resources for career counselors. This manual serves as a practical toolkit for implementing the guide's recommendations. The conclusion summarizes the guide's contributions and reflects on the integration of self-regulation and career counseling. Policy implications are discussed, providing recommendations for education and workforce development, and advocating for the institutionalization of self-regulation in career services. The paper also suggests future directions for research and policy, emphasizing the importance of this integration for educational achievement and personal satisfaction.
