Corrigendum: Iconic associations between vowel acoustics and musical patterns, and the musical protolanguage hypothesis

In the published article, there was an error. The subheading under Discussion, “Vowel Intrinsic Pitch and Size-Sound Symbolism” is incorrect and it does not match the text.

A correction has been made to Discussion, paragraph 2. The subheading previously stated:

Vowel Intrinsic Pitch and Size-Sound Symbolism

The corrected subheading should read as below:

Vowel Intrinsic Duration and Size-Sound Symbolism

The author apologizes for this error and states that this does not change the scientific conclusions of the article in any way. The original article has been updated.
