A correction has been made to RESULTS, Second column–4th Paragraph:
In the original article, there was an error. We reported: “At present Altmetric.com tracks 96,550 research outputs at the University of Sheffield with 1,463 of them being cited by at least one policy document. This means that 0.65% of Sheffield research, across all disciplines, is cited by at least one policy document.” This percentage is incorrect and should read as: “At present Altmetric.com tracks 96,550 research outputs at the University of Sheffield with 1,463 of them being cited by at least one policy document. This means that 1.41% of Sheffield research, across all disciplines, is cited by at least one policy document.”
The authors apologize for this error and state that this does not change the scientific conclusions of the article in any way. The original article has been updated.
Conflict of Interest Statement
The authors declare that the research was conducted in the absence of any commercial or financial relationships that could be construed as a potential conflict of interest.
