Power of the mind

German program w wie wissen visits prof. Rainer Goebel and Dr. Bettina Sorger (Maastricht University & BrainGain). They show how mental states can be detected with functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and how a computer could possibly detect (after some training) which image you have in mind. This technique is also sometimes referred to as Brain-Computer Interfacing.
