This Research Topic aims at showcasing novel findings presented at the
European Drosophila Neurobiology Conference (NeuroFly-2022) conference (Saint-Malo, France, 6-10 September 2022). This Research Topic will provide a collection of articles related to the oral presentations, reports and experimental outcomes discussed at the conference to highlight the significant advances of Drosophila research in the Neurobiology field.
The biennial NeuroFly-2022 meeting serves as an international forum for junior and senior neuroscientists to exchange results and ideas, and to bring emerging concepts and technical developments to the forefront. As the meeting fosters interdisciplinary discussions, the selected articles will reflect this rich thematic diversity. All neurobiological topics are covered, including Behavior, Brain Evolution and Ecology, Neural Circuits & Synapses, Sensory Systems, Neural Development, Learning & Memory, Navigation, Disease Models, Neurodegeneration and Aging, Brain Homeostasis and Metabolism, Neuro-computation, as well as the latest Technological Innovations.
Conference participants are invited to submit manuscripts that describe (preferably) Original Research and Methods, or are Reviews and/or Hypothesis & Theory pieces. Drosophila researchers not attending the conference are also welcome to submit their manuscripts.
