The Research Topic will collect selected contributions from
ISPMF 2018, the
3rd Conference of the International Society of Plant Molecular Farming held in Helsinki, Finland, on 11
th-13
th June 2018.
The selected papers will address the whole palette of interests of Plant Molecular Farming, covering all possible aspects of
recombinant proteins and bioactive small molecules. Especially, this Research Topic will collect contributions in the fields of plant molecular biology, biotechnology, synthetic biology and metabolic engineering. Specifically, genomics, novel genetic engineering techniques, biosynthesis and applications related to broad range of plant-based bioactive compounds, will be covered in this Research Topic. Also, the discussions on new industrial applications utilizing plant cells are welcome.
This Research Topic will provide a delightful spectrum of up-to-date research tools and state-of-art outcomes of Plant Molecular Farming thus stimulating a creative exchange of knowledge and experiences among scientists and people working in the respective industries.
Contributors are welcome to submit Original Research, Method, Opinion and Review articles related to the topics covered in the Plant Molecular Farming conference. Submission in this Research Topic is limited to the conference attendees and their co-authors.
