In April 2018, in Kazan, Russia, the
International Conference on Interventions to Extend Healthspan and Lifespan, sponsored by LLC Initium Pharm in partnership with Frontiers, will be held. More than 50 leading scientists are expected to present their new results in epigenetics, genomics, proteomics and metabolomics of longevity and aging, gerontology and pharmacology. Participants from all over the world will discuss recent breakthroughs in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying longevity and healthy aging, new hypotheses and research strategies, and recently proposed physiological and pharmacological interventions promising to have health-beneficial and life-prolonging effects.
The Research Topic aims to provide a collection of articles based on or related to the talks and posters presented at the Conference. The main topics include:
Genomics, metabolomics, proteomics of longevity in humans and animals, Neurocognitive aging, Epigenetic mechanisms of aging, Biomarkers of biological age, System biology and bioinformatics in the study of aging, Environment and aging, Pharmacologic interventions in aging, Mechanisms of regeneration.
All participants of the Conference are welcome to submit the following article types: Original Research Papers, Review Articles (Including Mini Reviews), Opinions, Methods, Hypothesis & Theory, and General Commentary. All of the submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed. Some article types are subject to publishing fees. Waivers for these fees are available in the case of need and a number of institutional agreements are in place. The Topic Editors EGP and AM declare that they are affiliated with the International Conference on Interventions to Extend Healthspan and Lifespan on Genomics, metabolomics, proteomics of longevity in humans and animals, Neurocognitive aging, Epigenetic mechanisms of aging, Biomarkers of biological age, System biology and bioinformatics in the study of aging, Environment and aging, Pharmacologic interventions in aging, Mechanisms of regeneration
