This issue on Neuroethology, the study of the neural basis for natural behavior, is timed to coincide with the 9th Annual Congress of Neuroethology in Salamanca Spain (http://www.neuroethology.org/). Reviews, original research articles, and opinion articles will be featured in this issue. Articles will highlight approaches using ecologically relevant sensory stimuli as well comparative studies that address the evolution of neural systems.
