About this Research Topic
The goal of this Research Topic is to provide a forum to advance the contribution of metabolomics to the occurrence and development of cardiovascular diseases, thereby exploring various potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets, and providing assistance for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
We welcome submissions on the following topics, but are not limited to:
- Discovery of plasma biomarkers for cardiovascular diseases diagnosis
- Analyzing the biochemical metabolic status in cardiovascular disease through metabolic regulation networks
- Clarifying the etiology and mechanism of cardiovascular diseases based on different metabolic characteristics
- Exploring potential functional small molecule metabolism for cardiovascular disease
- Combining other multi omics analyses to deeply analyze the pathophysiological mechanisms
- Metabolomics and drug efficacy and toxicology
Keywords: metabolomics, cardiovascular disease, biomarkers, therapy targets, mechanisms
Important Note: All contributions to this Research Topic must be within the scope of the section and journal to which they are submitted, as defined in their mission statements. Frontiers reserves the right to guide an out-of-scope manuscript to a more suitable section or journal at any stage of peer review.
