Calcium Signaling plays a central role in the contraction of the heart. It couples the electrical excitation of the heart to contraction. The importance of calcium signaling extends well beyond this role. For example, Calcium signaling serves to modulate the electrical activity of the heart, modulate energy metabolism, and regulate gene expression. Furthermore, dysfunction of calcium dynamics also is thought to play a role in cardiac arrhythmias. A combination of experimental and computational approaches have been effectively applied to study calcium signaling in the heart. Papers that describe the role of calcium signaling in the heart are welcomed. Papers of diverse form will be considered including papers on research, theories, opinion, methods, areas of impact, historical, etc. The common theme is that they describe calcium signaling in the heart
