With the progress of biotechnology, there are new diagnostic technologies appearing for the diagnosis of allergic diseases. There is a need to evaluate the application value of different diagnostic technologies for allergy diagnosis and develop a potential joint diagnosis strategy, considering the variations in the use of these technologies across different geographical regions, medical institutions with varying medical levels, and patients with diverse characteristics.
This Research Topic aims to:
(1) Report on the current new allergy detection technology.
(2) Discuss the strategy of allergy diagnosis.
(3) Analyze the potential joint diagnosis of different technologies.
Suitable themes for manuscripts include, but are not limited to:
(1) Application of new detection technology in allergic diseases.
(2) Application value of different technologies in different scenarios, such as different regions and patients with different characteristics or states.
(3) Combined application of metabonomics, genomics, transcriptomics, or other omics technology in allergic diseases.
(4) Combined application of allergen crude extract and component detection in allergic diseases.
(5) Combined application of varied biomarkers such as exocrine, inflammatory factors, etc. in allergic diseases.
All article types accepted by Frontiers are welcome.
