About this Research Topic
This research topic aims to highlight the recent advances in the treatments of brain metastasis in breast cancer, including the discovery of new targets or agents, novel methods in pre-clinical or clinical trials, as well as deeper insights focusing on the known agents and treatments.
This Research Topic welcomes a wide range of original and review articles, including but not limited to clinical trials, observational studies, qualitative studies, mix-methods studies, systematic reviews, scoping reviews, meta-analyses, and clinical case series, addressing any of the following aspects:
1. Early diagnosis and treatment of central nervous system metastases of breast cancer.
2. Clinical trials on new agents or regimens for brain metastases of breast cancer.
3. Mechanisms of recurrence and resistance to therapy of brain metastases and identification of druggable targets.
4. Treatment strategies for the progression of brain metastases.
5. Development, evaluation, and implementation of innovative interventions for improving symptom outcomes and quality of life in brain metastases survivors.
