This Research Topic is a celebration of the 1 year anniversary of Frontiers in Biomaterials Science (in October 2022).

Led by Field Chief Editor, Prof. Dietmar W. Hutmacher, Frontiers in Biomaterials Science serves as a Gold Open Access multidisciplinary journal, aiming to disseminate high-quality research covering the entire fields of biomaterials science and biomaterials technology.
