We are delighted to present the Rising Stars: Immunosuppression 2022 article collection. This collection showcases the high-quality work of internationally recognized researchers in the early stages of their independent careers.
All Rising Star researchers were individually nominated by the Frontiers in Transplantation editors in recognition of their potential to influence the future directions in their respective fields. The work presented here highlights the diversity of research performed across the entire breadth of Immunosuppression and presents advances in theory, experiment and methodology with applications to compelling problems.
Immunosuppression has lost nothing of its relevance and interest in 2022. We would like to cover exciting topics in the field of immunosuppression, be it new insights into (molecular) pathways in drug action, pharmaco-genetic, -kinetic or -dynamic aspects in basic, translational or clinical application. The management and monitoring of the balance between under- and overimmunosuppression as well as the treatment or prevention of adverse effects of therapy can also be highlighted. In addition, we would like to publish recent developments in maintenance therapy and/or rejection treatment.
New articles will be added to this collection as they are published.
