Global collaboration is the cornerstone of scientific advancement.
Frontiers in Cardiovascular and Smooth Muscle Pharmacology has organized a series of special edition Research Topics, with the goal of highlighting the latest advancements in Cardiovascular and Smooth Muscle Pharmacology across the globe, showcasing the academic excellence and high-quality work of internationally recognized researchers.
These collections aim to shed light on the recent progress made across the entire breadth of the Cardiovascular and Smooth Muscle Pharmacology field, and reflect on the future challenges faced by researchers across borders.
We welcome original research and review articles covering, but not limited to, topics within the scope of the section. This includes significant basic and clinical research findings related to the pharmacotherapy of cardiovascular disorders and those of other smooth muscle-rich organs such as those of the urogenital tract including functional disorders of the heart, blood vessels, kidneys and urinary tract. Manuscripts looking at drug action and the underlying mechanisms related to these disorders are welcome including analysis of specific receptor-target interactions (e.g. enzymes, particularly kinases and phosphatases, transcription factors) and their consequences at the cellular, tissue and organism level.
Please note, that contributions to the collection are by invitation only. If you are interested, please do get in contact with the editorial office to learn more about how to submit your research.
