Recently, our society has experimented that Virology is a changing panorama with a large impact on health, economy, and society. In the post-pandemic times, preparedness for existing and new threats has become a key factor focusing the work of clinical virologists and researchers.
This Research Topic is focused on the knowledge and recent experience in viral diseases in the Iberian Peninsula geographical area, neighboring countries - due to climate change - and worldwide - given the ease of communications and the globalization of our societies. Dear Virologist,
We are preparing selected talks for the XVI SEV Virology Congress in Málaga on September 2022, to be joined in a Special Issue called "Virology Today in Spain” to be published in the journal Frontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology
Contributions are expected to be original articles, but some review articles will be also accepted, provided the topic is of general interest.
For participation in the Special Issue, authors should send a tentative title before 31 September 2022. The submission deadline will be on January 3rd, 2023.
