The study of the life cycle takes place on a complex process of development, which consists of well-defined stages and features, being a vital advance in which both biological forces and environmental experiences intervene, which are manifested throughout the various stages. In this sense, there are various factors that can be highlighted during this process that allow us to advance satisfactorily in these stages, as well as, depending on our own abilities, capacities, and limitations. Remembering the great influence that both society and the time in which we have had to live to have on this.
The main objective of this Research Topic is to compile the most recent work on the psychological, educational, and sporting determinants that influence development throughout the life cycle. Under these three parameters, the aim is to welcome manuscripts related to the following topics:
- Motivation and Satisfaction
- Emotional Intelligence
- Teaching and Learning Models
- Didactic, psychological, and sporting factors that have an impact during the life cycle
- Physical education at school and its relation to psychological health
- Current situation of education after the COVID-19 pandemic
The following types of contributions will be considered: empirical, qualitative, quantitative, or mixed studies, systematic reviews, bibliometric studies, meta-analyses, and case studies, taking as a sample any stage of the life cycle.
Longitudinal or cross-sectional studies that investigate any of these determinants throughout any stage of the life cycle, on an annual or comparative basis between countries and/or cultures, may also be submitted.
