About

Due to the research areas worked on by the different editors of this Research Topic, the aim is to address education and the social factors that influence it at different educational levels. We must be aware that education is also affected by the distinct social circumstances in which students find themselves, and we must work together to analyze how to improve the quality of education. It is also interesting to analyze the different psychosocial factors and the way in which they influence depending on the social context.

Education is key to social change and improvement of the quality of life, so teacher training at different educational levels must be taken into account. In all countries, educational excellence is sought but sometimes this is unattainable due to external factors that can influence both teachers and students. It is, therefore, necessary to study the different psychosocial factors in order to tackle them in the most optimal way possible. The family environment, education, economic condition, parental education, psychological factors, school bullying, physical inactivity, and eating disorders may be some important aspects to be treated.

The aim of the Research Topic is to know what social factors can affect education, both in students, teachers, families, and teachers in training, in order to achieve improvement in the quality of education.

Therefore, we are interested in topics such as:
-Different cross-sectional, longitudinal, and intervention programs that are developed in the context of education
-The relationship between education and social factors
-Intervention plans in educational centers
-Teacher training
-Analysis and treatment of different problems encountered in schools, such as school bullying, physical inactivity, eating disorders, coeducation, etc.

We are interested in receiving manuscripts of any type due to the breadth of the subject matter.
