Global collaboration is the cornerstone of scientific advancement.
Frontiers in Health Services has organized a series of special edition Research Topics, with the goal of highlighting the latest advancements in the field across the globe, showcasing the academic excellence and high-quality work of internationally recognized researchers.
Since the early 2000s, poverty in Africa has largely declined, and many populations have benefited from economic growth. This has led to many investments in healthcare and therefore, improvements in the health and wellbeing of people living in Africa. This has filled people in the continent with hope, optimism, and aspirations to continue to develop an equitable and sustainable health care system.
This collection aims to shed light on the recent progress made across the entire breadth of the Implementation Science field and reflect on the future challenges faced by researchers across borders. All submitted manuscripts must have a clear implementation focus, example topics include, but are not limited to:
• Implementation and hybrid effectiveness-implementation studies within Africa;
• Studies in the field of African health and social care program implementation;
• Studies that report on implementation stakeholder engagement or involvement processes, methods, or frameworks within Africa;
• African based systematic reviews and meta-analyses focused on implementation effectiveness.
Please note, that contributions to the collection are by invitation only. Please inform the Editorial Office at healthservices.submissions@frontiersin.org once you are prepared to submit.
